A noncombustible rating is just the start.

Product Benefits

USG STRUCTO-CRETE® Brand Structural Panels, formerly USG Structural Panels, are made in the USA, and we oversee every aspect of production. So, when we say they’re UL certified noncombustible, you can believe it. Our panels aren’t MgO, they’re high-strength, gypsum-based, reinforced concrete panels. That makes them lighter than precast or poured concrete plus they’re mold-, moisture- and termite-resistant. They’re even easy to work with because they install like wood sheathing, giving you a faster, easier, and more efficient way to build.

Code Reports

Code Reports

The USG evaluation of noncombustibility for certain MgO structural panels whitepaper reported findings obtained by a third-party lab, using MgO structural panels purchased on the open market. That testing conclusively shows that none of the four MgO products tested meet the ASTME136 noncombustibility standard.

The International Code Council (ICC) cancelled Megaboard’s ICC ESL-1151 report (2018) and removed ESL-1151 from the ICC listing directory after conducting an investigation into the whitepaper.
