The easiest path
to OSHA compliance

No additional steps. No additional manpower. No additional equipment.

Low Dust Levels

  • Laboratory testing shows that USG’s Joint Compound with Dust Control will not exceed OSHA limits of Respirable Crystalline Silica.
  • OSHA reduces PEL for respirable crystalline silica from 250 to 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air, averaged over an 8-hour shift.

May Not Require Wet or Vacuum Sanding

  • No additional equipment costs
  • Less dust and easier clean up

Industrial hygiene testing may not be needed

Levels of total and respirable airborne dusts are below OSHA’s new permissible exposure limits (PEL)
